Pancakes - Apple & Cinnamon Flavor!!

Quantity good for 3-4 People

Ingredients:

  • Oats (rolled)- 1 1/2 cups, ground to fine powder
  • Butter – a cube
  • Eggs – 2
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Fresh milk – 1 1/2 cups
  • Sugar – 2 tsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Nutmeg powder – 1 pinch
  • Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Apple – 1, cut into small pieces.
  • Salt – a pinch

Accompaniments:

  • Maple syrup
  • Fresh cream

Preparation:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the oats powder, eggs, vanilla extract, milk, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder & apple. Mix well till the batter is thick in consistency for pouring.
  2. On medium-low flame, heat a non stick pan.
  3. Once heat, pour a small portion of the batter in the centre and make it round using the back of the spoon.
  4. Let it to cook for about 2 minutes. Drizzle it with little butter & flip the side to cook the other side. Drizzle more butter on this side and let it cook.
  5. Repeat the process for the rest of the batter as well.
  6. Serve hot with maple syrup and fresh cream on the side.
