Quantity good for 3-4 People

Ingredients:

  • Rolled oats – 1/3 cup, ground to fine powder
  • Quick oats – 1/3 cup, coarsely ground
  • Wheat flour – 1/3 cup
  • Cocoa Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1/ tsp

For Making the Paste: :

  • Ripe banana – 1
  • Ghee / cooking oil – 1/4 cup
  • Jaggery – 1/2 cup
  • Curd – 1/4 cup

For Garnish:

  • Chocolate Chips

Preparation:

  1. Gather all the ingredients and grind – banana, ghee /cooking oil, curd & jaggery into a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer the paste in a large bowl and add the ingredients as listed above.
  3. Mix everything well to make lump free smooth batter.
  4. Add the lemon juice to this prepared batter.
  5. Keep the muffin mould greased and lined with parchment paper.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared moulds.
  7. Garnish with chocolate chips and baking sugar / rolled oats.
  8. In a preheated oven at 180 deg, bake this for about 25- 30 minutes. (Insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean, the muffins are ready).
  9. Remove from oven and let them cool completely.
