Ingredients: Quantity good for 3 people

  • Water – 2 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Tea leaves – 2 tsp
  • Cardamom pods – 3
  • Cloves – 2
  • Cinnamon – 1 stick (2 inch)
  • Ginger – 1 inch or ginger powder (1/4 tsp)
  • Sugar (optional)

Preparation:

  1. On medium flame, place a pan with water and let it boil for few minutes.
  2. Add tea leaves, grated ginger or ginger powder, crushed cardamoms & cloves. Continue to boil for few more minutes.
  3. Now, add crushed cinnamon, sugar (as per your taste).
  4. After few minutes add warm milk and let it all come to a boil.
  5. Switch off the flame and cover the pan for few seconds.
  6. Pour the tea from the pan to the cups with the help of a tea strainer.
  7. Serve it hot. Enjoy!
